Has anyone here developed an integration for Alen Air Purifiers? We’ve had them for a couple years now and are fully invested in these around the home and I want to integrate these directly into the home. They do have an app but don’t provide any sort of web portal or api.
I currently use another zigbee device to track air quality, tvocs, etc., but I would prefer to use the Alen Air itself if possible.

I’ve had decent luck by using the Smart Life app instead of the native Alen Air app. This is what Alen directed people to before they made their own app.
Once you have your purifiers in the Smart Life app, use the Tuya integration in HA to access the purifiers.
The level of functionality you get using the Tyua integration may vary depending on the device and MCU firmware. For example, I have six total Alen Air 45i purifiers in my house. Four of them are on MCU v1.5.0, and these give me power, fan speed, mode, ionizer, child lock, as well as sensor readings for air quality and filter life. Two of them are on MCU v1.6.0, and they only give me on/off and fan speed.
Weirdly, the functionality in the Smart Life app is the same regardless of the MCU version. It’s only in HA that the higher MCU version causes limitations. I suspect it could be fixed via some improvement to the Tuya integration in HA, but I haven’t had the time to dig into that yet.
