I thought that, too, but my entities still aren’t available. So I deleted and reinstalled the integration with no success.
AD is working for me, but I’m in the USA. Amazon is currently making changes to several endpoints which have caused geolocation login issues for some users. I know some nations in the EU and South America are affected by it.
Hello, I’m based in Europe/ France ,running latest AMP 5.7.11 ,
loggin OK ,but device still unavailable…
Wait & See
Hi, Europe-Spain… AMP available but devices still unavailable
Well seems really to be amazon ad related cause the official integration has same behaviour:symptoms…(at least in europe/france )
After updating HA Core to 2025.11.1 I managed it to get the Alexa devices integration working again and I see my Echo dot but all it’s entities are unavailable. i live in Belgium EU.
I’m seeing something more pervasive. I use Alexa Devices, and I see the Too many requests ‘UNOFFICIAL_CLIENT_TOO_MANY_REQUESTS’ in the log.
BUT, I also see no smart home devices on any of my Alexa apps (android and iOS) and screen-based Echo Hub has no groups (therefore no devices, a big paperweight basically) and Echo Show 8 shows groups but the devices just flash when tapped and are non-responsive. HAOS App itself not having any issues, it seems like maybe something is flooding API calls in my home and causing all users of this API to be throttled.
Anyone else seeing this? It started just after the Amazon outage in October.
AMP still not working at all? Kinda surprised that it’s not a bigger issue due to the wide usage of Alexa
It is under attention on the Github platform
got the same issue since days. sometime I see all my devices in the alexa app and seconds later, the list is gone and it idles… no chance, to add new devices in groups … so any news regarding the issue?
Try removing the Alexa Devices integration and use only Alexa Media Player. This should fix the issue after a few days.
I also live in Belgium. Log in to

- amazone.com.be
- amazone.co.uk?
did you manage to fix the issues ? I can’t send message to Alexa anymore and most of my automation are doing that ![]()
I’m a newbie, just setup HA, and despite carefully following the instructions to install Alexa Media Player I get no devices found at all, but no error messages. Uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, disabled HA skill and re-enabled, but nothing makes a difference. I am trying to determine if this is the API issue, or if I just have set this up wrong. Any suggestions? FWIW I’m in the US.
Also in the US. AFAIK, the most active developer for Alexa Media Player (AMP) has been giving his 2 cents to the developers of Alexa Devices (AD) the last few months. The developers of AD, mainly the owner of the repository, has stated that as AD matures, that AMP will be phased out.
AMP is a custom integration (installed via HACS), while AD is a core integration (baked into HA). Currently, AD is stable. The things that AMP was able to do that haven’t been added to AD, yet, are Media Player functionality, Alexa connected devices (like Echo Glows, basically bluetooth devices), last_called device sensor, and the ability to do actionable notifications. Otherwise, it can do everything else.
Thanks, I guess it is time to expedite my move away from the Alexa dependencies anyway. It was in the long term plan, but no sense fighting a battle that can be avoided.
