For some reason, the Alexa Device integration is refusing to load. The HACS "Alexa Media Player" is loading fine. I have tried to "Reload" the integration and have also "Restarted" HA with no luck.
I would think that if the AMP is loading then there is nothing wrong with my login credentials for AD. AD was working flawlessly UNTIL I loaded the 2026.6.0 Core this morning.
Is anyone else encountering this problem too? Does anyone know what I can try to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance for everyones help.
Hi,
I had the same problem.
Entered the PW and OTP again and it worked again.
Thanks for the advice. Because i am really a newbie here. How exactly do i do this? How do i make the integration ask for my password and OTP again?
@schrej That worked perfectly! I figured out how to reenter the Password and OTP.
For reference and any other person who may run into this same problem:
- Select the "Alexa Devices" integration
- The screen that appears will list the Hubs that you are accessing. These are usually named by the email address you access Amazon with. Beside this email address on this screen you will see three dots. Click on those three dots.
- Select "Reconfigure" from this three dots.
- A new screen will appear asking for your Amazon password and OTP. The OTP is the number generated from your Authenticator App that you need when you log into Amazon using two-factor authentication.
That's it! You will get a success message from HA and all will be working again.
