I’ve searched high & low and can’t find anything on this, so I’m coming here. I am trying to add the AMP integration. I add the required credentials and it takes me to a proxy Alexa login page. I attempt to login to my account and it gives me a “your phone number can not be verified” error. I have disabled 2FA, reenabled it, ensured the user/pass are correct. I’ve contacted Amazon and they suggested resetting my password. Does anyone have any ideas?
Alexa is very quirky if there is a regional mismatch in your account. For example, maybe you lived in the UK and that’s where you originally created your amazon account, but then you moved to Germany and only updated your address in the account. You’d actually have to update the account region, too. Same in the USA, where they have an east region and west region. This can cause a whole bunch of malarkey.
If that’s not a possibility in your case, make sure you’re using the correct Alexa domain for the region you reside in.
amazon.com > USA
amazon.de > Germany
etc, etc.
