Alexa Media Player doesn't show up - although integration was installed successful

I successful installed Alexa Media Player Integration via HACS. Login to amazon.de was ok, 2FA as well - all good, but Alexa Media Players do not show up in HA. It says: no devices, no entities (but I do have 5 echo devices).

I tried the same process using amazon.com (instead of amazon.de) and all echo devices were shown immediately and were added. But I cannot use the entities because they are flagged as “unavailable” due to wrong amazon-domain.

I have no clue how to get my echo-devices as media players into HA. Does anyone have same issues and knows how to solve that?

Exactly the same issue here. Frustrating, as I’d like to use them TTS from my ESP voice assistants.

It helps me a lot to know that I am not the only one with this problem.

in the meantime I found out that there was an issue reported describing exactly our problem:

The suggestion to use AMP 5.3 did not solve my issues.
