Alexa Media Player - Next Timer not working

I am using the Alexa Media Player integration to integrate 6 Echo devices. I have automation that will display the time remaining on a kiosk when an Echo has an active timer. This has worked well for many months. Suddenly it stopped working. I am using the attribute Next Timer. Now, all of the Echo devices indicate “not available” for the Next Timer attribute. Is this a new, common problem. Any work around or solutions to get this attribute working again?

Did you upgrade to the 5.8.0 version and (if necessary) re-aithenticate on the Amazon web site ?

I did upgrade to 5.8.0. I did not re-authenticate. I cannot find a way to reset my credentials within HA. The configuration for the Media Player does not have any login info. I tried ChatGPT, which led me nowhere. Any suggestions on how to re-authenticate?

Here is a picture of my re-configure media player in HA.

Weird. It seems that it misses fields:
User name
Password
Amazon authentication

Same here @Jim_T! My Alexa timers were working great until I updated to this latest version.

That said, I can confirm the integration is still connected because the process_timestamp attribute on my Alexa timer sensors updates whenever I ask any of my Echos to set a timer.

It’s the input_datetime.timer_end sensors that don’t update.

Guess I’ll cross my fingers this gets fixed with the next update.

same problem here, when I set a timer I see process_timestamp is updated but all fields are empty for the other attributes of next_timer. Using version Version 5.8.0. Also no errors are shown in log file.

I have been using Next Timer on my Alexas for years, it stopped working with last update. I rolled back and still not working, foolishly I have relied on Next Timer for many cool automations. Like everyone else all I can do is wait it out and hope they fix it. If anyone comes up with a good work around I would appreciate it if was posted here.
