Alexa unable to 'talk' to my Home Assistant

Hi, I have two Home Assistant installations. One in my home using Nabu Casa to integrate with Alexa, and another one in my cottage using the Alexa dev AWS to communicate with Alexa (Alexa Smart Home Skill). All my echo devices (at home and at the cottage) are tied to the same Amazon (Canada) account.

Following the instructions in the ‘manual installation’ earlier this fall, I got it working perfectly, but it’s no longer working :frowning:

Alexa is able to discover the devices at the cottage (I removed and rediscovered the devices successfully) but I get a ‘no response from server’ when I try to interact with a device.

Anybody know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks.

I can’t answer the exact question about alexa, but have you thought about using homeassistant remote so that you can just use your ‘home’ instance to control the devices on your ‘cottage’ instance?

That way you wouldn’t need to use a secondary alexa instance as all the devices at both sites would use the same one.

Thank you so much  This is so much better than the manual Alexa.

Unfortunately, I’m having issue with this integration, see https://github.com/lukas-hetzenecker/home-assistant-remote/issues/85
