Now that speech_to_text is available I want to see if I can make the assistant usable on my setup (without it my vm needs like 6 seconds to recognize voice), so far so good, it works fast and good.
But, specially for my kids, I want to use a female voice as HA voice and I realized that just one of the x_low voice preview is working as it should on the Spanish voices: carlfm (x_low). Other voices just speak gibberish.
When that problem is ignored and I use them either way, they “kind of” work, they say part of the response correctly mostly one of the works in the phrase is weird, and at the end it says “something” that is not a word.
I assume this is a problem with my configuration but I do not know what to change. I already retriggerd the download of the voices again but It did not helped.
For luck the es_MX female voice work as expected. But still I would like to be sure my setup is correct.
