Allow climate devices as temperature in Rooms

Currently, I have to “extract” the temperature-attribute of an climate-device of a room via a template, just to be allowed to select it as temperature in a room.

cal you please allow choosing this aswell?

May I ask what device or integration you are using? What you are describing does not apply across all climate devices.

For example, the Google Nest integration generates a separate sensor entity for temperature and humidity. It does not require an attribute template
