Am I not supposed to see Aqara FP2 and G4 door bell in HA?

I have several Aqara devices (M3 hub + different sensors, TRVs etc) and they all show up in Home Assistant.

Yesterday, I added an FP2 Presence sensor and the G4 Video Door Bell, and although both works just fine in the Aqara app, I haven’t been able to add it as a device in Home Assistant and the camera door bell shows up in Apple HomeKit as well.

Is there something special I need to do in this case or should they just “pop up” as the other devices did ?

Okay, adding FP2 is solved now:

  1. Add the FP2 to Apple Home
  2. Remove it again
  3. It automatically pops up in Home Assistant

Crazy but true…

This is normal… this is also how you add devices using thread but doesn’t support matter… all my Eve devices connected this way as well

Now install Homekit Bridge and you can add the device back to Homekit again using this bridge without losing it in HA :rofl:
