AM43 Moes Blind Motor - response delay/lag

Hi all

I’ve got two of these blind motors:

I recently relocated one of them, and the move coincided with switching from Alexa over to HA. Reliability has been a bit iffy, with occasional error code 3074. This may be due to the range, which a repeater (plug) may fix. So hopefully this is a non issue.

However, I’ve just setup a second one of these blind motors, which is exactly the same model, and seem to have a different issue.

The new one seems to have some serious lag between sending the command and the blind moving. Almost 10 seconds sometimes! The original motor responds to HA instantly.

I’ve deleted and re-paired the new motor but the issue remains.

I’m using a Skyconnect dongle and ZHA.

Any ideas to resolve this lag/response delay?

I’ve just removed the slow-to-respond blind motor from my Zigbee network, and connected it back to a Tuya gateway and Alexa. It responds instantly on the Tuya app and through Alexa!

Does this suggest some kind of incompatibility between these blind motors and the Skyconnect dongle or HA itself?
