My Ambient Weather integration broke when I upgraded to Core 5.2. How can I fix this?
I don’t think that’s due to the upgrade.
I just lost connection to the Ambient Weather service as well
I contacted Ambient Support through their website at
Ambient Weather
Received the following message:
Thank you for contacting Ambient Weather Support.
I am sorry to hear about the issue with the API.
I contacted my developers, and they were able to resolve the issue.
Please test and follow up if you are experiencing the issue.
But even after restarting HA I don’t see the connection coming back
The error message still is:

No connection here as well since about 12:30pm MDT
Still not working for me.
Started working for me about an hour ago, 7:15am CST. Had stopped yesterday at about 1:20pm CST.
Same here - not sure when it came back up, though.
This finally got me to the point where I switched over to using the local version :-
Mine kicked in again at 8:16 EDT. Are you sure you meant CST, not CDT?
Can you point me to some resources to run this locally?
I installed the Ambient Weather Local integration first and then followed these instructions to install the AWNet add-on:
Keep in mind that the add-on is required for the setup to work - including some configuration through the awnet app - and that it only works the a certain set of Ambient Weather Stations.
Lol, who knows? It was 7:15am this morning in the current central time zone, whatever it is currently called
