AMD mini computer alternative to intel nuc?

Amd is pretty popular now, but I still don’t see a cheap nuc alternative for home assistant server. I have a pi with ssd and would like to upgrade some day. And if there is a chep solution on amd, that would be the case.

Do you know anything about cheap amd based mini computers? Are there any compatibility issues between Home Assistant os and amd?

Asus have just announced the PN50 which is a Ryzen powered device. ‘Cheap’ depends on your point of view :grinning: but the indicative prices seem competitive.

You could take a look at the ASrock Deskmini A300. It’s on my wishlist for the nearby future. :grinning:
