I have become very used to the media control notifications that pop up in Android when media is playing on any of my cast devices. However, now that I have a Home Assistant Voice PE device, and I frequently use it to play music via Music Assistant, I really miss this feature.
It got me thinking: Would it be possible for the Companion app to allow the user to select media_player entities to monitor and to display media control notifications for those entities? The media_player entities have all the metadata necessary to accomplish this, even the artwork. I think it would be fantastic.
