Android companion app sensor names issue

Yesterday I started having the issue where opening the app would also open a home assistant page in chrome but tell me it was inaccessible.

I found the fix was to clear the cache and data in the app.

Upon setting it back up I named my phone slightly differently.

I reset the app again and deleted the entry under mobile devices in HA.

Set the companion app up again and now all the sensors related to my phone have the device name twice.

E.g. sensor.grant_op13_grant_op13_screen_brightness

Instead of

sensor.grant_op13_screen_brightness.

How do I get rid of the double name ?

As far as I know the only way is to manually rename the entity_id in the entity config dialogue box.

I was afraid of that.
My phone has over 120 entities :grimacing:

I’ve updated the automations that rely on the phones sensors. Bizarrely the notify service hasn’t changed so the notifications are all still working.
