Another Australian WiFi Plug

Hello everyone, this post is primarily aimed at Australian and New Zealand users.
I came across these plugs during one of my banggood searches.

XS-A18

I was able to get Tasmota onto it using Tuya Convert.

I have one very big warning, these units are glued closed and if you brick the device during convert it’s gone.

The sacrifices we make for good home automation.

The pretty photo makes it look like they device has addressable RGB leds but they do not, they are rgb but each color is one on, all on.

The pinout is as follows
gpio 5 color blue
gpio 0 color geen
gpio 2 color red
gpio 13 button1
gpio 14 relay1

I paid around AUD85 for a four pack.

I bought 4 of these and programmed them fine… Thanks for posting.

However, if you go to Tasmota Templates there is a Custom Template for these plugs which gives you control over the brightness of the LED ring, the colour of the LED Ring as well as an option to turn the LED ring off altogether and setups up the device for full utilisation.
