I am investigating the lights that are going to be placed in my new kitchen by the dealer. Apparently they can be controlled with this remote control:
I looked up this remote control and it seems like this is a Rayrun BR03-CG Umi handheld remote controller.
I downloaded its manual and here are its specifications:
Working voltage: DC 3V, CR2032 battery
Wireless protocol: Umi protocol based on SIG BLE Mesh
Frequency band: 2.4GHz ISM band
Wireless power: < 7dBm
Working temperature: -20-55 C(-4-131 F)
I would like to control the lights with Home Assistant as well as with this remote control so I probably have to look into this “Umi protocol based on SIG BLE Mesh”.
Does anybody have any experience with this protocol? Are there devices that support esphome and also this SIG BLE Mesh thing?
