Hey,
I have floor heating in my house (Germany) and would like to replace my current non-smart wall-mounted thermostats that control the water vales, with smart ones that work with HA.
But I can’t find any that
-run on mains voltage, so without batteries
-connects to HA via WiFi or zigbee, so preferably no new bridge
-will run locally without cloud connection
Do you know of any thermostats that work good with HA and meet my criteria?
so my search brought me to two possible “solutions”:
-The Meross MTS200B. Could be integrated with the Meross HA integration, but from my experience, this is not too reliable. I would try it with the HomeKit Device integration, this works for me with other devices. It fits my requirenments (no battrie, no cloud, wifi), the price is good (for a thermostat), but it does not look too good.
-The Möhlenhoff Matrix Wifi (“OEM Alpha Smartware Regler direct Matrix 230 V WiFi”). It is not available yet (I send an email to the company, maybe they can tell me the planned release date). Pro: It looks good and I can use it with my Gira 55 series. Also no batterie and uses wifi. Problem here, dont know yet if if will support home assistant.
thanks!
I guess the ME81H will be the thermostat I will use. After flashing it with ESPHome it will meet all my requirements
I really liked the design of the Möhlenhoff thermostat, and I would be willing to pay extra for it, but they replied that it will be released within the next year - but I wont wait that long
