Any heater thermostats without an own hub?

Hello,

currently I am looking through different heating thermostats (not those hanging on a wall - but those directly physically connected to the heater like this one ). But it seems that every thermostat has either it’s own hub or some additional hardware you need to purchase or isn’t capable of connecting to the WiFi.

Has anyone some hardware which could be used in HA without any additional hub?

Cheers

I know what you mean. I used a webcontrol32 board and a relay board to make one. The webcontrol has PLC programming so you can do additional safe guards in case the home automation fails.

And what about this z-wave one:

I suppose you have z-wave configured on your HASS.

Any non z-wave options? I do not have a z-wave stick and already a Tradfri and Xiaomi hub.
