Discourse recently introduced a built-in MCP server, allowing AI clients such as ChatGPT or Claude to connect directly to a Discourse community using OAuth authentication and the user’s existing permissions:
I tested the expected MCP endpoint on Home Assistant Community:

It currently returns a 404, so it appears that the new MCP server isn’t enabled here yet.
I’m interested in using it for community monitoring and research. For example, it could be useful for identifying important recent discussions, catching up after some time away, and keeping track of topics I’m following.
Are there any plans to enable Discourse’s built-in MCP server on Home Assistant Community?
