Any problems using custom cards?

Been using HA for a number of years, and have install everything and had lots of fun. But the platform is not that stable (running at a NUC using proxmox).

I have started again, new hardware, running HA directly at HW, with no virtualisation. I would now like to have something that is rock solid :wink: .

My old setup (soon to become my test setup), I would often at my tablets get ā€˜card could not be loadedā€™ (always custom cards). Refreshing the view in the tablet sometimes helped, Sometimes I would have reload the custom card at the HA server or restart HAā€¦

So, building a new HA server - does custom cards give problems ?

When you say ā€œcustom cardsā€ do you means cards that you created or custom cards from HACS? I use a ton of custom cards from HACS and I canā€™t ever remember having a problem with them loading.

Yes - custom cards in HACSā€¦

Nice to hear, that my experience is not the normalā€¦ I will use custom HACS cards in the new setup.
