I got a SimpliSafe system for free through my insurance but I don’t like cloud and subscriptions. So I only have it locally and I do not want to add devices myself.
However, I’d like to use as much as possible from SimpliSafe within HA. For example, is it possible to do things like:
- Trigger an alarm from within HA? (for example, non SimpliSafe supported devices integrated in HA could trigger an alarm)
- Use the SimpliSafe speaker for HA alerts
- If possible, local (cloud-less communication SimpliSafe<–>HA) … very likely a pipe dream
- Get an event when correct pin was entered (that way I can build an alarm system in HA but control it with the existing remote)
