The timer was set and did end up going off when it was supposed to, but when I asked what the timer was set at I received an error.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong. When a timer is set where is that value stored? Is there a way to set something up in the UI that will display any active timers?

Ah, thanks. I did search and found a couple different threads discussing similar issues but didn’t notice that thread. Seems to kind of sum up my experience with VoicePE in general, honestly. Even the things I thought would be simple and basic turn out not to be. Wasn’t expecting to have to reinvent the wheel for everything in order to get local control 
I am having similar problems. Sometimes when I ask Assist for “timer remaining” it will tell me the time in minutes left. Other times it will say “no response” or something of that nature. It is difficult to diagnose as it is intermittent. I can’t seem to reproduce it right this minute so am unable to check the logs.
Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
No clue how deep y’all want to go. But I built a voice timer before HA built one.
And, VoicePE was not even imagined back then.
