Any way to force the "Open door" option for a Nuki lock (Matter)?

Nuki Smart Locks have the "Open door" button in the app, which unlocks the deadbolt and pulls the latch while the standard "Unlock" does not affect the latch.
This button is also available in Home Assistant when using the lock via Matter. https://help.nuki.io/hc/en-001/articles/18155255436945-What-lock-actions-does-Matter-support

However, in the Nordics model, as described here, there is no option for enabling this button, even though it works fine in the app (the app always shows all buttons, but there is also a setting to make "Open door" default, and only then it appears in HA Matter). Add support for "Open door" button in Matter for Nordics lock, and "Choose door fitting" setting - Feature requests - Nuki Developers

Any ideas if there is some way to force Home Assistant to show this button?

try custom component, where you have more services then core integration.

I don't have the bridge, so I guess polling via web would be consuming much more battery. :frowning:
And looking at the issues, it seems the latest models are not supported. Issues · kvj/hass_nuki_ng · GitHub

I was wondering more about some way to force it via Matter. Or maybe even just Home Assistant UI because it seems for a group of locks, the Open Door button is always shown (even when all locks in the group do not have it individually), though not sure right now if it actually works.

unlatch works for me with mqtt.

Yeah, it seems to work via MQTT :tada:
But I guess it will also have higher battery usage, because I had to enable the built-in Wi-Fi for that.
The Nuki help page says that it should be possible to use MQTT via Thread, but I don't understand how to set it up.

with mqtt and wifi, my lock need charging after 6 months. just try it.
