Anyone able to sign into the app on android TV?

First screen asks to select the instance to sign into and nothing is listed. Hitting down and the ok/select button gets me to a page where I can enter the url of my instance.
Hitting up and ok lets me type.
It refuses to connect on my local IP so I enter my duckdns url and hit ok. It moves on to the sign in page.
Here I can do nothing. No buttons make any difference to anything on screen.
This is a mibox s on 8.1.0 and all apps are up to date. I have also rebooted after installing the HA app.

Any thoughts of what I’m doing wrong here?

Its a known issue with the d-pad try to use the android tv remote app and use the mouse functionality to move. The UI won’t behave as you expect since it was not designed for d-pad navigation.

Okay. So I tried the remote app and the touchpad mode. Nothing at all on the login screen. In fact when on the login screen and I hit the keyboard in the remote app it still says home assistant URL even though I’m on the login page.

I think the android tv remote app has an issue. The nvidia shield has a separate app that has a touchpad for the mouse and that was confirmed to work. Personally I have a harmony hub and a smart keyboard for it so I use that and it works fine. You may want to try a usb keyboard/mouse. Keep in mind though the entire UI was not designed for D-pad navigation so it may not be optimal yet.
