Anyone else with multiple tasmota devices unreachable today?

Just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone elsehas has any similar issues. Today I noticed i was unable to control some (not all) tasmota devices in HA. I went through and checked about 15 of my 54 tasmota devices and found 11 of them were unavailable in HA. I tried to connect to the web ui, and this would not work either. There was no wifi ssid to connect to ( ie reset state) or anything like that. I opened up a couple of light switches and disconnected the power on two of the shelly devices and one sonoff devices. After reconnecting them to power, the devices appeared in HA again, and the web ui was accessible. The same happened for ifan and power plug. I have not updated anything and am stumped. Tomorrow i will flick the circuit breakers to lights and power and see if the renainder come back online.

Turn your access points off and on

Hello Michael,

Sounds to me like you might have 2.4 band and the 5 band on the same SSID, and it’s getting confused. Tasmota doesn’t like that band sharing stuff.

Will leave this up here just in case someone suffers the same thing.

So I tried bouncing my access points as suggested and only got one device back up from that. Thanks for the suggestion.

To fix the issue I turned off my HA instance, flicked ALL circuit breakers to Off except for my home network (Unifi). Left this off for a couple of mins. Flicked the breaker for the network devices (which took down the access points as well as these are POE). I left this off for a couple of mins as well. Turned on the network breakers. Waited about 5 mins for everything to boot (Unifi) then started HA instance. Then turned on all the breakers. Everything worked again once it came back up.

Have no idea what it was, but I know I did not update anything or change any config. It was solid for a very long time.
