Why are you interested to buy a device with a screen you won’t be able to use anyways?
Or do you have some ESP-Home code that can do the Bluetooth part also?
I would use it together with an ESP32-C6 as an AP. I hoped it would show the IP-Address of the AP.
I just made a big realization.
I believe most of us has a few tags that is updated by a time pattern, like weather, electricity price or something like that.
I just set up my new 4.2 inch to display an apex chart of the electricity price and since prices update every 15 minutes now I could almost feel the next battery change already in my fingers.
And it was at that moment I realized my employer uses me for slave work a big portion of the day and then I sleep at night, so why update the screens when we aren’t home or at sleep?
Rough guess is that this will double the battery life.
Just in case anyone else has screens set up to update on a time pattern and has also neglected this.

Using the puppet add-on on a apex card with the light graphite theme does look OK.
I have the apex card set up to red, pink and black colors since that can be rendered on the screens quite good.
I also set up the card to only show day ahead prices when available and hide past time to get as much detail as possible on the screen.
And now is pretty the worst time since it just recently got the day ahead prices and expanded with another day.
