I’ve got a stand-alone Steinel PIR sensor whose output I hooked up to a Shelly SW input. However, it looks like the Steinel doesn’t have a clean/dry contact and instead lets the wire float, I guess this because the switch state of the Shelly is always true regardless of whether the PIR sensor ‘sees’ anyone or not (I hear it clicking its relay when I come into its range).
Has anyone resolved this e.g. by putting a pulldown between SW and N? What did you put there? A small light? A resistor? Any other way to make this work?
I’m wondering how to (safely) do this myself, if anyone has a proven way of getting this to work. that would be great.
