Anyone using Microsoft Surface Pro 1 as a Dashboard?

Hello Hive Mind,
I have a Surface Pro 1, with Windows 10 Home Pro, that I am hoping to use as a dashboard. I am having troubles with the WiFi disconnecting randomly, thus requiring user intervention which is usually a reboot.

I have tried all the suggested cures for this. Reinstalled Marvell 350N network driver, made sure there are no power-saving modes set, etc. Still won’t run for more than about half a day without losing connection. Apparently the Marvell hardware used in the early days of this device is known to be scatty.

I have set up the dashboard on Edge using kiosk mode. It is all working well, except for the disconnections :frowning: .

If anyone out there is running a similar system I would like to hear how you managed this WiFi issue please.

I am currently trying having HA run a ping to the SP at regular intervals to keep the network up. If that fails I will try using regular mouse clicks instead, but I want to use them for waking the display (which currently works well, when WiFi is working).

Thanks in advance for your help
