I kept losing track of which fuse feeds which switch, which cable runs 24V DC vs mains, and where I filed the manual for that one light fixture — so I built an add-on for it.
What it does
- Areas & devices — synced from Home Assistant’s own registry (one click, uses the Supervisor token automatically), then enriched with what HA doesn’t track: purchase date, install notes, capabilities, physical location. Devices HA doesn’t know about (fuses, junction boxes, passive switches) get added directly as local devices — each area shows at a glance what’s synced vs. local-only.
- Connections & plans — draw the actual wiring between devices as a diagram, not just electrical: water, gas, and network runs work the same way, alongside 230V mains, 24V DC, or a Zigbee binding.
- Attachments — manuals, invoices, warranty cards, floor plans, photos — attach them to the device or area they belong to, and pull mermaid diagrams out of what you’ve documented.
Everything lives locally under the add-on’s data directory, so it rides along with your normal HA backups.

Install
Sync from HA is read-only by default — it never writes back to your instance. Feedback, bug reports, and feature requests all welcome via GitHub issues.
