App switches unexpectetly to external web browser in Settings

I have set both the external URL and Internal URL in the settings.
I am on the cirrect WIFI for the internal / local URL.
In the App, I can go to a Device, go to Device Info, scroll to Automations, and then select an Automation.
At that point, the Android App suddenly launches an external Web browser… which then requires me to enter a Login and Password, which I did not have available.
Why does the App suddenly send me to a Web browser???
