Aqara device broken?

Hi

I just got myself an Aqara T1 TH-S02D, temperature, humidity and air pressure sensor.

Installed it in Home assistant via Phoscon/deConz and the RaspBee II that I am (still) using for my ZigBee devices.

Temperature and Humidity seems to work fine, but the pressure shows only 10hPa all the time, but looking at the history since yesterday when I installed it I can sett that it from time to time jumps to a value that looks reasonable.

Is the Aqara device not functioning properly and I should return it to the store, or could this be some kind of setup issue?

I noticed just now that in the last few minutes it started showing ok values again, for now.

The problem persists, no idea anyone if it’s a bad device or something with the integration that causes this?

Can’t help much because I don’t own the device, but why is your pressure sensor named humidity? Did you rename the entity incorrectly, or was it a bug in the pairing process?

It’s the Device name, entity names are inherited from the device name unless given a specific name, which I didn’t.

The device name should be 3D Filament. The Humidity part should come from the entity itself, otherwise all the entities for that device would be named the same.

Post a screenshot from the Dev tools showing all the entities for that device.

It certainly should not. You can name your devices any way you like, and will name mine any way I like.

This thread isn’t about Device naming. If you have any knowledge on the topic of the thread, please share!
