Aqara Dimmer H2 - On/Off duration

Hello Community,
If I can use the search function correctly, there is not yet a thread about the new Aqara H2 dimmer, that covers this topic.
As I am a fan of the Aqara switch series, I bought the new H2 dimmer today to try it out.
I think the mechanics and haptics are good, as is typical for Aqara, but I don’t like the switching behaviour at all.
Switching on and off feels like it takes forever, probably 2 seconds.
Has anyone tried it out and does anyone know whether this can be adjusted?
I have flashed my dimmer to Zigbee but the switching behaviour is based on physically pressing the button.

Update!

The duration of switching on/off (transition) can be configured, but obviously only for remote switching via ZigBee, unfortunately this has no influence on physical switching.

I don’t find the dimmer characteristic ideal either. At 50% the lights are still very dark … only at approx. 70/80% would I judge the light intensity to be approx. 50%.

The blue illuminated ring looks nice, but is too bright in the dark. It would be nice if you could adjust the brightness. I’ve switched the ring off completely for now.

How do you change transition time?
Also, how do you control the brightness using a card in HA? When I add the entity it appears as a “switch light”, without the possibility to change the brightness.

Sorry for the late reply.
I am using mushroom cards but this might be valid for any other card as well.
If you tap on the text of the card, a window with a slider will open.
If you tap on the symbol the light will toggle.

Transition time can be set in Zigbee2MQTT settings of the device.
You need to go to „specific settings and scroll down to the second last topic.

Thanks. I need to change to z2m apparently. Zha has tma lot of the aqara h2 dimmer features as wip , so might be better to just change to z2m

I have have never experimented with ZHA but maybe you try to do some research in this Community before you switch to Z2M, this might cause significant reconfiguration of your System.

luckily I have only like 20 entities so far. But adding 20-30 more that isn’t supported is not really an option I’m afraid.
