Aqara Door/Window Sensor ON then immediately OFF

I have this Aqara Door/Window Sensor

When the sensor is removed from the magnet (when the window opens) the sensor registers ON then immediately to OFF.
I expect it to stay ON while the window is open and then OFF once the window is closed

That’s how they should behave normally, how did you integrate them into Home Assistant?

I used ZHA to pair it. I dont have any automations for it… I only wanted t use it as part of n alter system to let me know when it is left open. But, On then immediately off wont let do that since it is only on for a split second before its off again

Do you have more than one of these, if so do they all behave like this?
Could also be a faulty device.

I do have another one set up. That one works as expected
