Aqara Dual Relay and Shutters on One Toggle

Does anyone know how I could combine two separate switches with on and off states into one toggle on one card? I have an Aqara Dual Relay that controls my rolling shutters, it has to be on interlock mode so both switches can’t be on at the same time. I currently need to have the two switches displayed on my dashboard to control the shutters. I would like a single card that has an up and a down to control the shutter. I would like to be able to press up to raise the shutter and press up again to pause the shutter. I would also like to be able to press up to raise the shutter and then press down to reverse the direction of the shutters. I can currently do that with two independent switches, not sure if you can combine that into one. Any help would be appreciated!

How is your Aqara device connected to Home Assistant?

They are connected via Zigbee2MQTT. Each switch is an independent entity within Home Assistant.

Thanks for responding. Still, not enough information in your post to allow people here to help. Have you tried an automation and if so what went wrong?

Yeah, sorry I am not explaining it very well. I haven’t needed to use an automation as of yet because of the interlock mode on the actual relay. Turning on switch 1 automatically turns off switch 2, and vice versa. You can visually see it happening on the dashboard cards. I just need to combine the two entities into one card and one interface element if that makes sense.

Have you looked into a template switch?

I think that might be the right path. I got two switches on the same card, but they don’t do anything. I think I might be able to muddle my way through it from there, thanks!
