I’m trying to get a new Aqara shutter switch to work with ZHA, but unfortunately the standard config doesn’t work and I’ve had to use a workaround.
I’ve complained to Aqara about the lack of support even though their packaging says that Home Asssistant is supported. I’ve offered to write a specific quirk to make it work, but this is Their response ![]()
Thanks for offering to help write the quirk — that’s much appreciated.
“Our office will be closed from April 4 to April 6 for the Qingming holiday. Responses may be delayed; however, we will respond to you as soon as we have additional updates.
Unfortunately, I’m not able to provide the list of dp_ids for the switch. These identifiers are considered internal operational data, and sharing them externally isn’t something we can do due to internal policy.
However, I can confirm that the quirk would need to apply to all OpenFlow switches in our environment, rather than specific dp_ids. If you’re able to implement it in a way that doesn’t require pre-listing dp_ids, that would work for us. “
Does anyone else have access to the dp_ids?
Nonetheless, I think it is a poor deal that their marketing doesn’t match the reality and they don’t seem to want to help.
