Hi everyone.
I’m very New here and I just started my setup with a HA green and two Aqara h2 4 gang switches. I use ZBT1 in thread mode and try matter.
My first switch has 2 light linked with the “hard” buttons. I try to shut down these lights when I click on one of the programmable button. It looks pretty simple but I can’t choose any of the programmable button to start an automation in HA.
I can see them in the material list as “event” but when I try to use them for automation condition, I can’t find them in the list, I only find “Identifier”.
I don’t know what it is and couldn’t find anything in the forum or from aqara website.
Does anyone use these switches with matter and tell me how to use them?
Ok, I think that I found why. The button was not activated. I was able to activate them in the “diagnostic” field.
But now, when I try to use it to activate the automation, I receive the message “Message malformed: must contain at least one of below, above.”
What does it mean?
I also can’t select the button events in actions (buttons are enabled).
Could you solve the issue?
Could it be that Home Assistant does not yet support events for actions?
Hope it will be implemented/fixed soon. Otherwise the buttons are useless.
