Aqara M1S Gen 2 Hub HomeKit Controller Discovered but not Being Added

I am unable to add my Aqara M1S Gen 2 Hub to my HA.
The 1st time I paired the hub using the Aqara Home App, it was auto discovered by HA & upon clicking on the Configure button it asked for the Pairing Code. I found the code at the buttom of my hub & entered it, it was taking too so I closed my HA instance & left. I got a little busy at that time & I left my HA instnace for a few hours.
When I came a back after replugged the hub at my disered location, it was connected successfully to my WiFI & I added an Aqara ZB Wireless Switch to my hub using the Aqara Home App.
Then I tried to connect my hub to my HA, but this time when I clicked on the Configure button, it keeps showing “Please wait, starting configuration wizard for the integration” indefintely (i.e. I waited atleast 5 minutes). I also tried to add my hub by going to Settings > Devices & Services > Add Integration > Apple > HomeKit Controller > Aqara-Hub-M1S-51F2 (Bridger); after doing this nothing happens except the loading circle looping indefintely. have also tried to add my hub from my HA smartphone app & it is also not working.
I have tried to restart the hub as well my HA running on Pi3 several times. I even re-paired the hub using both the long pressing the reset button as well as pressing the button for 10 times along with deleting & re-pairing the hub from my Aqara Home App.
But I am still unable to add my hub to HA.
Can someone please help me sort out this issue? Is there any way to manually add my hub to my HA? Do I need to delete some residual files / folders from my previous attempt to connect it to my HA?

It connected successfully. This time I restarted the hub & when it was auto discovered in my HA, rather than clicking on configuration button, I went to add the device by clicking on Add Integration. It then asked for the Pairing Code & it instantly paired/connected to my HA. It discovered the two accessories instantly.
