My goal is to connect the aqara sensor p2 via matter. No aqara hub involved . I currently have a nest hub 2 which is set as the preferred network in the thread integration of home assistant. I was able to connect to nano leaf bulbs with not issue. The sensor has been successfully working with google home.
But not able able to link it to homeassistant after transfer from google home thorugh the linked matter apps and services button.
Does anyone know what am I missing?

Currently I dont have a aqara hub. Trying to connect without the hub directly to home assistant. I think this add on is for folks who have the hub .
This replicates what you can do from the AqaraHome app, the hub has nothing to do with it
So I am not able to connect the p2 sensor to aqara app. Does that impact this add on. Because I see we need aqara credentials?
Currently my google home is not able to link this sensor to home assistant nor the aqara app .
sorry I confused it with the fp2 wifi sensor, without a hub the p2 doesn’t work. bye
