Aqara P2 won't pair with Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus-E on Zigbee2MQTT

I've been trying to pair two brand new Aqara P2 door/window sensors from Amazon, with Zigbee2MQTT 2.12.0 on Home Assistant OS running on a Raspberry Pi 5 8GB. My Zigbee coordinator is the Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus-E configured with adapter type "ember" and firmware EmberZNet 7.4.4 [GA]. The serial port is set via full by-id path, dongle is in a USB 2.0 port with an extension cable, transmit power set to 20. Mosquitto MQTT broker is running and MQTT is connected to HA. When I enable Permit Join and trigger pairing on the P2 (3 blue flashes followed by slow pulse), nothing appears in the Z2M logs or dashboard — zero activity. The coordinator shows correctly on the network map, Permit Join opens successfully per the logs, and the dongle is confirmed detected in HA hardware. I've tried two different P2 sensors, multiple reset methods including 10+ second factory reset, different USB ports, and changing the channel and transmit power. Everything in the stack appears healthy but the sensors simply won't join. Thank you in advance for any and all help!

Uhm, aren't they matter only sensors? Z2M won't pick them up Door and Window Sensor P2 - Aqara
