Are there any alternatives to the Switchbot?

I don’t mind trying a DIY solution, but I have an electric fireplace with 4 rocker switches (On/Off, Heat 1, Heat 2, Fan)

We normally switch all of them on at once and turn all off at once.

Because they are rocker switches I would need 2 Switchbots for each switch, at £25 each, that’s £200. I thought that was a bit excessive.

Are there any other “button pressers” or other solutions? To get the WAF replacing the old switches is probably a no-go. (because I’m not allowed to “break” the fireplace) I have a 3D Printer, if that helps.

First of all, switchbot claims to work with most rocker switches. It comes with a sticker with a little loop that you attach to the switch (sticker) and the switchbot arm (loop) so it can pull the switch back the other way. You simply change the mode in the app for it to work this way. Works great with my rocker light switch.
That would make it cost only £100 :stuck_out_tongue:

The only alternative I know of is fingerbot which is currently on kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/adaprox/fingerbot-control-all-devices-remotely-through-voice-or-app). I ordered one, they say they will ship in April or may I think. Similar kind of price though.
