I am in Europe
and I have two wall switches that control outside lights. There is only a hot wire and ground coming into the box and a switched wire going to the lights.I have used Shelly switches but they require a neutral wire. Does anyone know of a Zigbee switch that could be used in this configuration?
Yes, they exist.
Are you looking for an actual wall switch or a smart relay?
I have a couple Sonoff ZBMINIL2 smart relays that have been pretty reliable. They also have a wall switch (MINI-ZB2GS-L-E) and recently came out with a 2-switch version of the L2, but I haven’t used either of those myself.
I’m pretty sure Shelly makes a similar smart relay.
Zemismart has a few no-neutral wall switches, IIRC a few of those are EU compatible. I have one of their kes-606-us wall switches that requires a neutral and it works quite well… I haven’t tested the no-neutral versions.
And Aqara has a few EU type wall switches with a no-neutral option for the H1-EU.
A relay is fine if I can still use the manual switch. I’ll look into your Sonoff suggestion. Thank you.
I’ve got quite a few Sonoff and can recommend them. I’ve got a mix of switches (ZB5M-1C / 2C / 3C) - they work both with Neutral (router functionality) or Live only (end point only); as well as relays, controlled by manual switches.
Let me know if you need any support or more detailed recommendations.
I ordered a couple of SONOFF ZBMINIL2 Zigbee switches from Amazon.es. Hopefully they will do the trick. Thanks for your reply
