Area card choosing random Reolink streams

Hi,

This is my current setup, 2 Reolink Cameras one in each room, each with 2 streams Clear and Fluent. I added 2 Area cards one for each room with Live preview and one shows Clear, one shows Fluent.
The 2 stream IDs are:
For room Door area card shows Fluent (Reolink RLC-820A wired):

  • camera.a_usa_clear
  • camera.a_usa_fluent
    For room Kids area card shows Clear (Reolink E1 Zoom wireless):
  • camera.room_kids_a_rk_e1_zoom_clear
  • camera.room_kids_a_rk_e1_zoom_fluent

I would like for both to be clear, or at least have a way to switch between them, how can I do that?

Doesn’t look like we have a way to control that right now. Only suggestion is to remove the camera you don’t want shown from the area.

I thought that the boilerplate solution to prevent entities being auto selected in cards was to make them hidden in their more-info settings. Does that not work in this case?

Yes that might be another option, if you want to make it hidden.
