for my experience there is no "default" configuration for these kind of appliances. Every combination of heatpump, thermostats and firmware version has it's almost unique behavior.
Are you missing some parameter? which ones?
Open an issue on the repo if you think you're missing something, but if you do please post your message dumps as suggested in the "Bug report" template.
