Appreciate this is a networking Q rather than an HA one, but it’s exclusively impacting my use of HA. I recently upgraded my router to the Asus ZenWifi XT9, with a 2nd unit to act as a mesh WiFi node.
This had all been working fine, but recently there have been some shenanigans as I’ve been unable to connect to HA intermittently. I narrowed this down to being unable to access the HA internal links when connected to the mesh mode. Access to some WiFi devices have also ‘dropped’ when connected to the mesh node.
It’s setup with ethernet backhaul, and have rebuilt/rebooted the network. But no luck. When I turn the Mesh node off, everything runs smoothly again. Poking around forums and such, AP isolation is off which seemed like a possible fix.
Not my strngest area, and hoping somonecan advise how I could get HA playing nicely with the mesh node!
