I’ve been using ASUSWRT integration and want to remove all the unnecessary device_trackers (cams, outlets, etc). Is there an easy way to remove them?
settings > devices and services > integrations > click ‘entities’ at top > filter on asuswrt > enter selection mode > checkbox the ones you want to remove > 3 dot menu > select action you wish to perform
thx, I thought there might be a way inside the Integration itself. Looks like the integration is a basic all-or-nothing method of importing devices, unfortunately.
I have over 100 device_tracker entities to remove. I suspect new, unneeded, devices always created since I dont see a way to stop that from happening.
Also, as it seems you cannot delete the entities even if the Integration is stopped. Only after removing the integration completely. I disabled the integration and it still did not deleted them
You get this error, and they never delete…
“The others require the integration to stop providing them, and sometimes a Home Assistant restart is needed. Are you sure you want to delete the deletable entities? Remove them from your dashboard and automations if they include these entities.”
