Atom Echo S3R don't work

Hi everyone, I’m new here and also new to the Home Assistant ecosystem.

Some time ago, I bought an M5Stack Atom Echo S3R with the idea of using it as a voice assistant in the Polish language. My Atom reacts to the wake word without any problem, but when I give it a command, for example “turn off the light”, I only get the response: “Sorry, I can’t understand” — every time.

I also tried Home Assistant Cloud, hoping it would solve the issue, but unfortunately the behavior is exactly the same. All entities are exposed to the Voice Assistant.

Does anyone have an idea what I might be missing or what else I can try?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Have you tried with Assist (right top of your home dashboard) if the same command is executed by typing it?

Thanks for the warm welcome. When I use Assist on the main dashboard, for example by typing “turn on the light,” it works correctly and the light turns on. However, my Atom Echo S3R does not trigger any action at all.

Can you post a screenshot of

Open your Home Assistant instance and show your voice assistants.

Yeah, sure. Thanks for trying to help

So you are using HA Cloud! :+1:
Can you open up the “Home Assistant Cloud” entry of the assistants.

Also, show the configuration panel of the Atom Echo (in Settings → Devices & services → ESPHome → Your Echo)

Open your Home Assistant instance and show your integrations.

So far it seems OK.

Press on the 3 dots behind “Home Assistant Cloud” and select ‘Debug’ to see what is made from your commands.
