I am also very interested in testing out your library. I have a ATS1500AIP on firmware 4.11.
Hi
Iām also interested in testing if u need help. I have a ATS1500 firmware 4.8 and can update to 4.11 and have ATS8500 program software
The integration seems pretty much complete and stable at this point and has been added to HACS (search for aritech).
Where can I find the 24 encryption key? I have a ats1500AIP
I canāt connect to my alarmsystem.
I entered the right host, port and encryption key, but it says cant connect.
do i need to change some settings in my alarm panel to connect?
ATS1500 fw 4.11
update: fixed it, DHCP changed the ip adres ![]()
Thanks for the excellent work you did on this Seba! Iāve been using the plug-in since it was still being developed, and Iām very happy to say that I have not run into any issues at all since the main release! very impressive.
Hi,
I just installed the plugin and gave it a try. It is amazing! As an Aritech alarm system installer myself, Iāve got to say: good job!
MR4.11 on my personal ATS1500A-IP works like a charm.
I was planning to use inputs and relays to pass information between HA and the ATS before discovering your integration!
Thank you for all the time youāve saved me!
Hi all,
This is exactly what I have been looking for! Many thanks @sebakerckhof for all the work putting this together!!
For anyone that has got this working what did you input for the pin? Is it the same you use to set and unset the alarm from the panel?
I am having difficulties getting it to work, it seems like it is almost there as I enter in my IP address, it detects my panel, but after entering my pin it looks to try to connect but then I just get the error āFailed to connect to the alarm panelā.
When I look at the logs in home assistant I see āFailed to connect to Aritech panel: Receive timeout code=TIMEOUTā
I looked at my firewall logs and nothing is being blocked, I can ping the IP address of my panel from home assistant, I reached out to my installer and they said they statically set my IP address to what I asked them to set it to, however I have no way to confirm this but I did set it on my UDM and I do see in the event logs that they did log in and made changes but I can not see what they did. I do see that they also attempted to do a FW upgrade 2x which failed both times.
The ultra sync connection works in the Advisor Advance Pro app but when ever I try to setup the Direct IP itās also giving me a timed out error.
Iāve been at this for hours and have no idea what could be the issue or what to check next, any input/suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Summary:
Error: āFailed to connect to Aritech panel: Receive timeout code=TIMEOUTā
Advisor Advanced Pro version 1.6.9 (7125)
Panel Version ATS1500AIP MR_4.10.176ddef
Home Assistant Version: 2026.02.1
Panel IP can be pinged from Home Assistant
Able to connect to Panel via UltraSync
Hello, I tried this morning and in the pin code section i put my pin code to set and unset the alarm
. Itās working fine on my side
Hey, thanks for checking/confirming. Then I have no idea why it is not working for me. I guess I will need to just wait on the installer to see what they say. I think they need to make some changes on their end with their installer pin, but without seeing what options they have its hard to say.
If I could trouble you to check one additional thing on your end if you donāt mind but from your panel if you do the below what options do you see there?
- Menu
- Enter pin
- Service Menu (Option 8 for me)
- Communication (Option 5 for me)
In this menu I only see two options
PC Connection (Option 2 for me)
UltraSync (Option 4 for me)
The simple fact that it only shows that and its labeled 2 and 4 makes me think well whats 1 and 3 should there be an additional option here for Direct IP or something which my installer needs to enable with their installer pin. Just grasping at straws here but in my mind this makes sense ![]()
