August Lock Integration ~ Reporting "Door" status as Unavailable

I have been using the August integration for a while now to not only control the August lock but to also be an indicator of whether the door is closed or cracked/open. Now when I bring up my August lock device, it shows the “Door” sensor as “unavailable”. Clicking on that sensor states:

This entity is no longer being provided by the august integration. If the entity is no longer in use, delete it in settings.

Is this true? Did August or HA eliminate this sensor from the Device?

I found the answer. This was not an August change or a HA change (even though HA message implied that). What happened was that August updated their App. When they updated their App, the August lock needed to be recalibrated. This was not stated any where.

To recalibrate the lock, i had to pull the batteries to reset the lock. Once the recalibration was completed, the “Door” status entity became active again.

All is back to working now!
