I have a YoLink hub with a bunch of sensors on it. The HA integration works well but when I add a new device HA doesn’t pick it up unless I reload the integration. Is it possible for HA to find new devices without reloading the integration?
I recently added my several year old yolink system to HA. A week or so later I added a new yolink motion sensor. It took some time to show up, but it does show up.
I have other integrations where the under-the-hood part of integration management also have a life of their own, it can’t be seen as far as I know, and we have to wait until they’re done.
I just setup a new Yolink system. It works great, the setup is really easy and the devices are top quality. I setup Yolink integration on HA and as I added more sensors a week later, they were found by home assistant quickly. On the notifications tab, it informed me that new devices were found.
I do have a question. Is there a way to grab that sensor data from the Yolink device in HA and publish them out as a mqtt message?
